Artist Statement:

Most of my holiday memories are around the movies my family and I watch every year. I especially love “A Christmas Carol” and the ghost of Christmas past’s influence on Scrooge’s character development. This scene shows the transition between Scrooge’s current time, going into his past being guided by the light. 

Bio:

Claire is a recent BFA graduate in the Cincinnati area focusing on oil painting and drawing. She enjoys working with color and light and how it affects the viewer’s perception of the work. In her paintings, color dictates form, sculpting the world purely out of paint.
