Ages 12 – Adult. Studies have shown that Tai Chi has benefits for ALL AGES! Break up the work week, and find some relaxation! In this class students will learn a basic short form as well as practice the unique Eight Immortals “Flute” set of movements. Tai Chi gently improves leg strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, breathing, sleep and mental focus. This class will emphasize mastery of easy to perform movements, and supplement with elements of self-determined difficulty. Students will employ the Ten Essentials that make Tai Chi beautiful, feel good, and an effective form of exercise. The foundational Qigong exercises boost the body’s immune response, enhance the sense of well-being and calm our often stressed mind-body connection.
