Ages 9-14. Instructor: Glenn Hartong.
Learn the secrets about how to make impactful short films! Students will gain skills to develop individually produced short Public Service Announcements (PSAs). Students will write, shoot, and edit their own film – learning cool tips and tricks from an industry professional. Class members will learn the best practices for capturing good audio and video, using iMovie for iPhone/iPad to assemble a video with video edits, audio edits, covering b-Roll video, and on screen graphics. If students have an Android device, they can use FilmoraGo instead. Through observation, the class will also be introduced to Final Cut Pro (FCPX) a desktop nonlinear editing system. This class ends with a short film festival where you’ll get to premiere your film for family and friends.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another course if the student withdraws at least five days prior to the beginning of the course.
Classes hosted via Zoom will be recorded, so all participants are asked to complete and submit a Media Release.
