Ages 8 – 12. Instructor: Tausha Cox
Do you love to solve problems? In this class, youth will nurture business ideas into action by creating a creative solution to a community need. Participants will enjoy understanding who needs their help (customer), developing a unique product or service, designing a logo and marketing strategies, and sharing their individual skills and talents in a way that helps others. After everyone develops a business plan, they will pitch their ideas to local business owners in a fun Shark Tank-style online event to get feedback and propel their ideas into a future successful business. You’ll learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur and create a kid-size business from the ground up.
