Each year, Kennedy Heights Arts Center hosts a fall event for the community in which we Fall Back to another era. Last year we traveled back to the 1870s, when the Kennedy Mansion was built—now we’re fast forwarding 100 years.
So hike up those bell bottoms and put on your favorite vinyl hit—because we’re headed to the 1970s! Join us for a far out DISCO party 70s-style with music by DJ Nill, disco dancers from MamLuft&Co. Dance, light show by Jeff McIntosh, dope decor curated by Karen Sickmann Saunders and Mallory Feltz, groovy games from The Play Library, Shrinky Dinks and pet rocks crafts, photo booth, and dyno-mite food and drinks.
We’ll pay homage to the great TV shows of the 70s. Come on down – and be the next contestant on The Price is Right (and win fabulous prizes)! Get down with us on The Soul Train (’cause we’re gonna boogie oogie oogie ‘till you just can’t boogie no more).
Enter a raffle to win a fabulous 70s Rock ‘n Roll package with a stereo turntable, records and more compliments of Everybodys Records! Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The winner will be drawn at the end of the night at Fall Back to the ’70s. You do not need to be present to win.
Fall Back to the 70s will take place on Friday, October 25 from 7-10 pm in KHAC’s Lindner Annex at the corner of Kennedy and Montgomery Rd. Can you dig it?
Free admission, cash bar. Costumes encouraged!
