    Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Fame pianist Phil DeGreg and his highly regarded trio of Aaron Jacobs and John Taylor join with guitarist Brad Myers and vocalist Kathy Wade to reimagine the songs of Stevie Wonder. The melodies are all still there, but with surprising improvisational twists. Jazz musicians love Stevie!

    The Phil DeGreg Trio has been a fixture in Cincinnati and southern Ohio jazz scene for over 30 years including 17 years accompanying national and international jazz artists in at Cincinnati’s famous Blue Wisp Jazz Club. They play many styles ranging from jazz and Brazilian classics, to contemporary remakes of Beatles and Stevie Wonder music.

    Phil has been nominated seven times for CityBeat’s “Cincinnati Entertainment Awards” in the jazz music category and has received two of the Cincinnati Enquirer’s prestigious “Cammy” Awards. He has produced 12 CDs including the newest “Queen City Blues”, which received considerable radio airplay, enjoying placement on 3 American jazz charts (NACC, RMR & Jazzweek), landing in the top 5 charting slots.

    Twice Emmy nominated, Kathy Wade is a renowned producer, musician, and jazz singer. She has been performing for more than 40 years all over the world, including the US, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa. Kathy has opened for many well-known performers like Whitney Houston, Eartha Kitt, Dionne Warwick, Dame Cleo Laine, Shirley Horn, Nancy Wilson, Kenny G, and more. Kathy’s recordings include “You Got the Magic”, upcoming release “Stranger in My Dreams”, and single “Someone’s In Love, for which the video counterpart has received an Emmy, a Telly, three International Films and Television Awards and was featured in “Cincinnati-The Movie”.
