Masterpieces in the Making

    • Feb. 11, 27 and March 16
    • Bond Hill, West End & Madeira Libraries

During Black History Month, we’re highlighting contemporary African American artists in our “Masterpieces in the Making” program at three public libraries around Cincinnati. This one-hour long program is FREE (registration requested through each local library’s website, please) and includes a brief art history lesson and artist introduction, and corresponding hands-on art project. Join us to learn about and make art!

We are honored to celebrate the work of three influential artists: Amy Sherald, Sam Gilliam and Faith Ringgold.  Children will create work inspired by these artists while learning more about their unique stories and contributions to our world. Please click on the links below to contact each library to register.
