This fall, our teen artists have partnered with The Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition (GCHC) to create a photo storytelling project, with guidance from instructor Kailah Ware.
Over 8 weeks, the students learned techniques in photography and Photoshop editing, and studied examples of how photojournalism can be used to bring awareness to important societal issues. They captured images in Over-the-Rhine that tell a story about homelessness in Cincinnati.
The student’s work will be displayed at GCHC’s Buddy’s Place at 1300 Vine Street. Join us for a free opening reception on Friday, December 14 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
