Join us for a free Hello & Welcome Community Day at Kennedy Heights Arts Center on Saturday, September 24 from 11am to 3pm.
With the theme of “We Belong Together,” we hope that you can join us in celebrating all our amazing new outdoor art installations from this summer! On our last Hello & Welcome Community Day of the year, meet the artists of the Kennedy Collective, an inclusive creative community of all types. Grab some refreshments, enjoy some music, and participate in a variety of art-making activities.
Community Day will be held outdoors on the lawn of the Kennedy Mansion, 6546 Montgomery Road. Rain date is Sunday, September 25.
Please park in the large parking lot at the KHAC Lindner Annex at the corner of Montgomery and Kennedy Avenue. Limited parking for those with mobility challenges will be available on-site at the Kennedy Mansion.
This summer, we are partnering with diverse artists in an initiative we call Hello & Welcome, designing outdoor installations that will transform our campus into a welcoming space to create and connect. Each installation will be unveiled at Community Day celebrations on the 4th Saturday of the month from April to September.
Collage designed by Thomas Kinsel. Artworks designed by Kennedy Collective members.
Support for this initiative is provided by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
