Play in the Park is back!

Enjoy summer fun, music, and art at Kennedy Heights Park, 6037 Kennedy Avenue, on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8pm. Each week includes music and arts experiences for kids, families, and residents of all ages.
Everyone is welcome and all activities and snacks are free!
June 15: Jazz and R&B in the Park – Mike Wade leads the Nasty Nati Brass Band with a cool beat to chase away the summer heat.
June 22: Human Friendly Hip Hop in the Park – Siri Imani takes the stage with Hip Hop in spoken word, music, and dance.
June 29: Rock & Roll in the Park – Roger Klug, Julie Spangler & Co. make a landing in the neighborhood for an evening of classic rock.
July 6: No Play in the Park – Enjoy Independence Day celebrations with your family and friends
July 13: Band Concert in the Park – UC Community Band marches in to play your summertime and Sousa favorites.
July 20: Let’s Move in the Park – Everybody Moves to your choice of Fitness with One More Rep, Sunshine Yoga, or Zumba with Jeaunita, plus healthy snacks.
July 27: Wonderland in the Park – Artist Adoria Maxberry takes us through the looking glass to explore color and texture throughout the park.
August 3: Island in the Park – The SunBurners bring their island party vibe, steel drums, and sing-a-long fun to this island adventure.
August 10: Big Top in the Park – My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus flies through the air and you can too during our back-to-school celebration. Farewell until next year!
