CANCELLED – Printmaking: Play & Color Layering with Gelli Plates

WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO INSTRUCTOR ILLNESS.

Ages 18+. Instructor: Nicci Mechler. Come experiment with acrylic paints and Gelli plates to make colorful, intuitive monoprints. This is an ideal process for experimentation and building a body of custom collage materials, chine-collé papers, art journal pages, and finished prints. If you love layers, you will really dig this! Prints are made without a press with light hand or brayer pressure.

STUDENTS BRING:  Bring any papers you want to try (optional).  Students can bring any soft rubber brayers they may have (Speedball 6 inch for example.)
