Play in The Park: Planning for Our Future Together!

We need to hear from YOU! For 15 years, Play in the Park has brought together people from Kennedy Heights, Pleasant Ridge and nearby areas, creating joyful experiences in Kennedy Heights Park and enhancing our sense of community. After all these years, this beloved summer event series is at a transition point, and we are seeking input from past participants, volunteers, artists, musicians, and others in charting our path forward.

In order to engage as many people as possible, we are hosting two “community cafes” on different days and times — one on Wednesday evening (October 2, 7-8:30) and the other on a Saturday afternoon (October 5, 1-2:30). These interactive sessions will involve small-group conversations that encourage reflection, visioning, brainstorming, and strategizing about the future of Play in the Park.
