    • Kennedy Heights Arts Center Lindner Annex

Join us on November 2nd at the KHAC Lindner Annex (6620 Montgomery Road) for a special screening of the 9-minute short film “Be Home Before the Streetlights,” created by Gee Horton and Shay Nartker. The screening will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, followed by an Artist Talk with Horton and Nartker, where they will discuss their creative process and the inspiration behind the film.

After the talk, head over to the Kennedy Gallery (6546 Montgomery Road) to view the final day of Gee Horton’s exhibition Chapter 2: A Subtle Farewell to the Inner Child. To close out the exhibition, join us for a small reception sponsored by Arts in HUEmanity, a safe space for arts professionals of color (APOC) to gather, connect, and network. Enjoy wine and light bites as you celebrate this powerful body of work.
