Adult Home Ec: Not Your Grandmother’s Needlepoint

Ages 18 and up. Needlepoint stitching is alive and well and this workshop is going to show you how to make your own outrageous, lewd and crude needlepoint pieces. This is the perfect “do at the beach” craft because you can work on it anywhere and pack it up in your bag when you need a break. Our guest instructor, Nicole Kroger, will show you how to set up a frame and needle and work from a pattern. She’ll also show you how to invent your own designs and make them come to life! No prior experience is necessary. If you have done needlepoint before but have not made your own design, you’ll learn how to turn your ideas into stitchable patterns.
