Ages 13 – Adult. Tie-dying isn’t just for kids at summer camp – take your skills up a notch and discover the fun (and addictive) art of Japanese shibori dying. We’ll dye cloth napkins, and then learn different ways to fold the napkins to impress your guests.
This is a pleating and binding technique that dates back to ancient times, and creates beautiful patterns with just one bold color – usually a bright, deep blue indigo. Just in time for the beginning of spring picnic weather!
