Musical Storytelling Around the World

Back by popular demand, it is Musical Storytelling Around the World, but with new stories from new places! Using fairytales and folktales from around the world, children will retell the stories using song and chant, movement, acting, Orff rhythm instruments, Boomwhackers and more. Creating sets, costumes, puppetry and imagery, the campers will bring the stories to life in a new way. Campers will learn how to do beginning composition to put together their storytelling. To highlight students’ work throughout the week the last day of camp will end with a performance!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another course if the student withdraws at least five days prior to the beginning of the course.

All participants need to complete and submit an Emergency Contact and Photo Release. Completed forms can be emailed to classes@kennedyarts.org or dropped off in-person at KHAC.
