What story deserves to be told? In this session of Teen Artists for Change, teens will work together to choose a community issue or local organization that matters to them, then collaborate with designer and storyteller Brandon Parker to create a short film that raises awareness and inspires action.

Throughout the program, teens will explore every stage of the filmmaking process, including brainstorming, sketching, storyboarding, visual development, filming, and editing, while working together to bring their ideas to life. Whether they enjoy drawing, photography, filmmaking, writing, or creating behind the scenes, every participant will have an opportunity to contribute their unique talents to the final project.

More than just learning creative and technical skills, teens will discover how storytelling can build confidence, strengthen their voices, and create meaningful change in their community.

Teen Artists for Change is supported by a grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation.
