  • Spring Term: April 9th - May 14
     April 9, 2022 - May 14, 2022
     1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Spring 2022 term: April 9 – May 7

Join us as we collaborate with artists from Visionaries + Voices! We will be inspired by the dedicated studio practices of these local makers and learn ways to co-create works of art. Teamwork will be our medium to explore!

Teen Artists for Change (TAC) is a student-led club for diverse young artists in grades 7-9, who want to use their creative skills to make an impact in their community. TAC provides positive outlets for teens to work together to plan and implement creative projects that matter to them. Mentored by professional artists, teens develop skills and express their voices through community art projects such as exhibits, public art installations, and films.

TAC meets weekly on Saturdays from 1:00-3:00pm, producing three projects in collaboration with professional artists throughout the year. Teens will explore and utilize various forms of art-making including photography, video production, creative writing, drawing and painting, fiber arts, and digital design. We will accept new members at the beginning of each term (Fall, Winter, Spring) and require that students commit to the full term.

COVID-19 Health & Safety:

Based on the current CDC guidelines and the recent decline in COVID-19 cases across our region, Kennedy Heights Arts Center announces these changes to our health and safety protocols.

Effective March 19, 2022, guests will no longer be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test certification to attend events, and the wearing of masks in our facilities will be optional.

This announcement comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) publication of its latest guidance on COVID-19, which is based on hospitalization data and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. Hamilton County is currently categorized by the CDC in the “Low” COVID-19 community level.

Thank you for your continued flexibility as we adapt our responses to meet our community’s needs and keep creativity alive during these challenging times.
