Teen Artists For Change: ‘Zines Workshop

We are hosting a special one-week camp for Teen Artists for Change on June 24-28th. The hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are 10am – 2pm. On Tuesday, June 25th, the session will run from 1-5pm to accommodate a video shoot/party where dinner will be provided.

We will explore different methods of self publishing artwork and writing through creating ‘Zines. At the same time we will create a video featuring interviews of teens talking about issues that matter to them. This video will be used to promote and create content for our new online ‘Zine platform launching this fall.

Sessions will be held at Kennedy Heights Arts Center Lindner Annex, led by instructor Rachael Banks. Students in grades 7-12 interested in photography, video, writing, social media, and working collaboratively with an amazing creative team should participate!
