Join local artist Cedric Michael Cox as he leads a painting class that explores technique through the genre of acrylic painting that personally inspires you. Each student will be asked to select an artist from art history past or present that inspires them. This will be the example or template that students will appropriate and recreate from. Students will learn how artists use color, how to compose a painting as well as brushwork and other techniques. Each student, beginner and advanced, will make art that captures their personal creative spirit and character.
