This Art Workshop Series for Kids offers diverse opportunities – from painting to fiber arts- for young artists, ages 9-12, looking for ways to continually nurture their creativity and ingenuity, while building relationships with others. This series strives to promote creative community, artistic discoveries, and sensorial connections. Participants will explore of art techniques and subjects to build a toolbox of new techniques and social connections, while learning about artists and how to discuss and express artful ideas.
Sept 17: Sunflower Power (mixed media painting) with Adoria Maxberry
Oct. 1: Printmaking with Terry Oestreicher
Oct. 8: Dots Galore painting inspired by the work of Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusuma with Adoria Maxberry
Oct. 15: design and make Good Vibe flags, inspired by Tibetan prayer flags, with Lynne Gibb
Oct. 22: Origami / extreme paper art with Lynne Gibb
Oct. 29: TBA with Robin Hartmann

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another course if the student withdraws at least five days prior to the beginning of the course.
