Jazz-loving Cincinnatians are invited to the 5th annual CPS International Jazz Festival, hosted by Activities Beyond the Classroom on March 8, 2025.
The festival will feature 140 Cincinnati Jazz Academy student musicians as well as nationally acclaimed jazz artists Camille Thurman (tenor saxophone) and Tanya Darby (trumpet).
This year’s Jazz Fest will showcase a world-premiere composition created by Dr. Isidore Rudnick specifically for our talented Cincinnati Jazz Academy students. The festival will also feature Bi-Okoto Drum & Dance Theatre, performing an Afro-Cuban Dance located in the Loge lobby, and artwork from around the world, thanks to the contribution of the Cincinnati Sister Cities. The art pieces will be created around a theme, and they can be viewed in the Aronoff lobby throughout the evening.
