Greg Abate with Cincinnati Jazz Academy

World renown jazz saxophonist Greg Abate will perform with the Cincinnati Jazz Academy Symphonic Orchestra on Friday, September 27th at 7:30 pm. The concert will take place in the Albert Harris Hall at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center Lindner Annex, 6620 Montgomery Road.

Greg Abate is an in demand international jazz recording artist with over 17 albums as leader. He has performed throughout the world with such all-time jazz greats as Rufus Reid, Phil Woods and Kenny Barron; and is consistently ranked annually as one of the leading jazz saxophonists by Downbeat Magazine.

Mr. Abate will play with the 33 piece Cincinnati Jazz Academy Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Isidore Rudnick. The orchestra includes very talented Cincinnati Public School students in grades 7th-12th.

Tickets are $10. Free for Jazz Academy students and families.
