    Date/Timing September 7 - December 31

Curated by fiber artist Carole Gary Staples, “You Are My Sister” is an exhibit celebrating the diversity and solidarity of women of all different races, ethnicities, cultures, religions, nationalities, education and socioeconomic levels. Commenting on many social injustices that women face, this show is a visual representation of the empowerment and strength that can come from unifying voices.

Join us for an Opening Reception on Saturday, September 7 from 6 to 8 pm in our Lindner Gallery at the corner of Kennedy and Montgomery Rd.

There will be an Artists Talk on Sunday, November 10 at 2 pm.

In conjunction with this exhibit, Carole Gary Staples will be leading two workshops where you can “Create a Community Quilt Block” that will then be sewn together to make a community quilt promoting social change, diversity, inclusion, unity and community cohesion. The workshops are free, but registration is required – see links below for more info:

This exhibition is Sponsored By: Kumon of Springdale, the Gary Family, the Staples Family, and Fly & Flourishing.
