Kennedy Heights Arts Center Welcomes Kimani Fowlin and Daniel Burkholder as Our 2022 Creative Community Artists in Residence!
Kimani and Daniel will be leading a series of 2-hour workshops in which participants will be invited to share their stories/experiences with parenting (as a parent and/or a child) and move together in easy, organic ways. All ability levels welcome. Each workshop will include conversations with community advocates to contextualize race, gender, and parenting.
The week will end in a performance by the artists and workshop participants and a family dance party.
Participation is free, but registration is required. Childcare will be provided.

Participants are not required, but are encouraged to join us in a collaborative performance. The final rehearsal will be:
Saturday, March 12 12:30pm – 1:30pm Final Rehearsal – ALL Participants are encouraged to attend.
Then everyone join us for the community performance and family dance party on Saturday, March 12 at 6-8pm, a culmination of the residency!
